The goal of the Dystonia Advocacy Coalition (DAC) is to speak with one voice for issues affecting the Dystonia community. By developing and maintaining Congressional relationships we hope to raise awareness concerning the needs of people affected by Dystonia and to encourage Dystonia Champions on the Hill.

This year I participated in Dystonia Advocacy day for the first time and it was soo empowering to meet with congressmen and senators to talk to them about dystonia. We were well received and were able to teach them a thing or two :P
